OUR MERGER
Our firm was founded on January 1, 2003, through the merger of two of Sheboygan County’s oldest and most experienced law firms.
The members of the former firms recognized that, separately, neither firm had the personnel or research resources required to be able to continue to assist their individual and corporate clients with the increasingly sophisticated issues that were facing them. Moreover, because no other firm in Sheboygan County had the resources, all too often out-of-town lawyers with out-of-town price tags were being brought in.
Through the merger, we have been able to enlarge and expand our staff, facilities and resources to continue to provide hometown representation for Sheboygan businesses and individuals. At the same time, as one of the largest Sheboygan County firms, Hopp Neumann Humke LLP is becoming recognized by outside businesses and individuals coming to Sheboygan County as the premier local legal resource with an understanding of the Sheboygan market and the sophistication to handle complex issues.
OUR GROWTH
Since our merger, we have expanded in several respects. Most recently, on January 1, 2009, we moved our offices to 2124 Kohler Memorial Drive in Sheboygan and we have expanded our on-line legal research capacity, so that we now have enhanced access to all Federal and State statutes, codes and cases.
OUR SHEBOYGAN CONNECTIONS
Eight former presidents of the Sheboygan County Bar Association are among the lawyers affiliated with Hopp Neumann Humke LLP. Our firm is under contract with the County of Sheboygan to provide all civil legal services for the County government. We have similar relationships with several cities, villages, towns, sanitary districts and other local units of government in Sheboygan and surrounding counties. The lawyers and staff of our firm are actively involved in numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. As a consequence, we have a clear concept of the issues and opportunities in Sheboygan County and Eastern Wisconsin.
